A few weeks ago, the fourth and final round of the 2014 Maltese Offroad 1/8 Buggy Championship was held at the Rinella track. Weather and track conditions were ideal for this last round.
Team XRAY driver Kyle Spiteri, the 2012 champion, took TQ and led from start to finish in the main race to win this final round. Kyle clinched the title with 4 TQs and 3 wins from 4 races, driving his XB8 in flawless fashion. This year, all of Maltaâ™s top offroad teams and drivers participated in this championship, making it the most challenging to date.
In the F2 category, Charles Vassallo, also a member of Team XRAY, took the top spot after dominating this category for the entire championship.
Team XRAY with their dominant cars were crowned champions for the third consecutive year.
